I thought you all might be interested in knowing about a new website that functions much like Pinterest, except that you can earn money from your pins. It’s called Pincredibles, and it’s in beta right now. It’s founded by the maker of Big Crumbs, which is a cash back website. Here’s how it works.
You pin cool pictures you find online, things you want to decorate your home with, cool things you saw online, recipes, and anything that interests you. But if somone clicks on one of your pins and ends up going to one of the websites and making a purchase, then you can earn income from it. But they are also pay out a revenue share for your participation on Pincredibles, like how much you pin, how much you share pins on Facebook, Twitter, etc.
They don’t have all the wrinkles ironed out yet, so they don’t know exactly what you’ll earn for what activities, but they sent me an email saying they were paying me $22 just for trying it out. They paid me $1 per pin up to a certain date. They didn’t tell any of us this before hand, so we didn’t know. Man, I wish I would have pinned more stuff before the cut off. But I’m happy for my unexpected $22.
Here’s what their website says right now about how you can earn:
…we’ve partnered with over 15,960 online stores. When members click on shared links to make purchases at any of these stores, Pincredibles may earn a commission. We share most of that commission with members. Pincredibles may also generate income from advertising and other sources. Most of this will be shared with members too.
